Shannon and Michael

It was 2019, right before Christmas, and I was working a shift in the ER.  I ran into one of the nurse practitioners in the hallway and we just started chatting about life and plans for the holidays etc.  Next thing you know, she is showing me pictures of her handsome son, Michael, and his adorable dog, Enzo, followed by the dreaded question, “are you single?”.      Fast forward to a few days later, I received a phone call from Michael, and of course, I let it go to voicemail in an effort to not seem overly zealous.  After I listened to the voicemail (a voicemail I still have saved to this day lol), I knew I had to give him a shot!    We met for brunch at Cafe Raymond in the Strip and the rest is history.  We will be tying the knot on November 11, 2022 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, followed by our reception at the Omni William Penn Hotel.
